Kate Hanson, Program Coordinator and Professor of Social Science, UNH-Manchester, will facilitate a workshop on reciprocal community partnerships. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss how to identify and create sustainable partnerships, develop partnership contracts and ensure reciprocity between campuses and community partners.

Barbara (Bobby) Gottlieb, Associate Professor, Harvard University School of Public Health and Suzanne Cashman, Professor, University of Massachusetts Medical School, will facilitate a day-long institute tailored to your needs. They will examine the pedagogy of service-learning in the health care fields, including reflection, curriculum development and evaluation. They will focus on strategies for enhancing cultural competency and promoting social justice through service learning. Lunch included.
