Facilitating Conversations for Change: Leading Constructive Dialogues

Drawing on a forthcoming Campus Compact guide for using civic prompts to educate future citizen professionals, this session will help participants facilitate constructive conversations on campus. Participants will engage in a participatory online workshop to explore complex campus controversies and then reflect with peers on how to develop campus capacity for tackling wicked problems. CCNH’s Stephanie Lesperance Named a National Campus Compact Fellow

Stephanie Lesperance, Campus Compact for New Hampshire’s Chief Strategy Officer, has been named a national Campus Compact fellow for 2022–2023. As the Rural Engagement Network Fellow, Lesperance will work to build a robust agenda of programming and resources specifically for our rural-serving institutions. Expanding Pathways of Public Service and Civic Engagement

Campus Compact and the Haas Center for Public Service at Stanford University have announced a new partnership to expand the reach of the Pathways of Public Service and Civic Engagement and support its associated Working Group. This academic year, the entities will co-facilitate and support the Working Group, a collaborative effort undertaken by 88 institutions and organizations across the U.S. and abroad to implement, analyze, use, and refine the Pathways framework and survey. The editors of this upcoming publication seek chapter contributions from faculty, staff, administrators, practitioners, students, and community partners. Chapters from across the country will share and analyze experiences using anti-racist community engagement principles in teaching, research, and practice on and off college campuses. “On the Move” scholarships will be available to New Hampshire GEAR UP Alliance students from urban and rural high schools throughout the state Plymouth State University is partnering with the New Hampshire GEAR UP Alliance to make college more accessible for students in the Granite State.
