Developing Peer Leadership and Support Programs for Student Success

This workshop will explore peer mentoring and peer supervision models as strategies for enhancing student outcomes. Learn how to create or enhance a successful program. Christie Maier, Associate Director of Student Success and Transformative Learning at the University of Kentucky, will lead the workshop. She will share her expertise and provide participants with best practices for creating and expanding peer-led programming. Rural College Access and Success Summit

CCNH is excited to serve as co-host of the 2021 Rural College Access and Success Summit with Partners for Education, an initiative of CCNH member campus Berea College. More than 900 attendees have signed up to participate in the virtual summit, to be held on April 26–30. The summit is one of the few national convenings to focus on education in rural America. This year’s event brings together leaders from higher education, K–12 schools, government, and nonprofits to share strategies for ensuring that rural youth have the opportunity to transition successfully from high school to college and career. Education for Democracy: Innovating in Complex Times Campus Compact believes that higher education is instrumental to creating just, inclusive, sustainable democracy.  In support of that vision, the Eastern Region Campus Compact (ERCC) Conference is a convening of campus executives, scholars, practitioners, students, and community partners, committed to enhancing our democratic society through community and civic engagement.  ERCC provides a venue for thinking critically about the issues, trends, and challenges in our shared work and for building stronger networks among colleagues.
