Debby Scire has been the Executive Director of Campus Compact for New Hampshire since February 2004. Debby first joined CCNH as the Associate Director of CCNH in September of 1997.

Prior to coming to CCNH, Debby served as the Director of Cooperative Education at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, MA and was responsible for Cooperative Education, Internships and Service-learning. She served in a similar capacity at Merrimack College, in North Andover, MA.

After graduating from Simmons College and from Harvard University Graduate School of Education, Debby worked in both admissions and residence life. Debby earned her Doctorate of Education from New England College.

Stephanie LesperanceJLP 1, Director, NH GEAR UP Alliance

Stephanie Soule Lesperance is the Director of the New Hampshire GEAR UP Alliance, a project of the New Hampshire College & University Council (NHCUC) and Campus Compact for New Hampshire (CCNH). She has been with both organizations since 1999.  Stephanie recently began overseeing NH’s two GEAR UP grants.  GEAR UP, which stands for Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs, is a federal program funded by the U.S. Department of Education whose mission is to significantly increase the number of low-income middle and high school students who are prepared to enter and succeed in post-secondary education.  In addition to her work with GEAR UP she assists with overall management of the organizations and provides oversight for their AmeriCorps*VISTA programs.

Prior to coming to NHCUC and CCNH she served as the Program Coordinator at AmeriCorps Hillsborough Reads in Tampa, FL and completed two terms of service as an AmeriCorps member. Stephanie is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education at New England College.

She is also a graduate of the 2010 Class of Leadership NH and a member of the 2008 Class of NH’s “40 Under Forty”.  Currently Stephanie serves on the Board of Volunteer NH!, the NH Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities and is the Vice President of the NH State Society.

Jillian OatesJLP 1, Director of Operations & Finance

Jillian Oates is the Director of Operations & Finance for Campus Compact for New Hampshire.   Jillian’s responsibilities include managing CCNH’s AmeriCorps Programs including the Northern New England Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA Project and the Wediko AmeriCorps Professional Corps Program.  Jillian also works closely on CCNH’s College Access Challenge Grant Initiative.  Jillian is an AmeriCorps VISTA Alum and served as a VISTA at Rivier College in Nashua, NH and as VISTA Leader.

Jillian has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Sociology from Salem State University.

Aarron Dupuis, Community Relations Coordinator

Aarron Dupuis is the Community Relations Coordinator for Campus Compact for New Hampshire. Aarron supports both GEAR UP New Hampshire and GEAR UP Manchester with a focus on the GEAR UP NH grant. Additionally, Aarron oversees social media for CCNH as well as provides assistance to the AmeriCorps VISTA program. Before coming to Campus Compact, Aarron served as the GEAR UP North Country VISTA hosted by White Mountains Community College in Berlin, NH. Aarron grew up in Berlin and is excited to be able to help students who grew up in similar communities as he did. He believes that education is the best way to better yourself and hopes that everyone realizes their potential.

Aarron has his Bachelors of Art degree in Psychology from Colby-Sawyer College and recently finished his Masters of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

 

Larissa Striga, Director of Programs

Larissa Striga is Director of Programs at New Hampshire College & University Council (NHCUC) and Campus Compact for New Hampshire (CCNH). In this role she supports member engagement and learning among the Admission Directors, Career Professionals, Libraries, and Community Service Directors Committees  and the wider membership to advance higher education in New Hampshire. Larissa also provides leadership for the Northern New England AmeriCorps VISTA program, which focuses on expanding college access and student success for students who are underrepresented, low-income, and first-generation.

Before joining CCNH and NHCUC in August 2019, Larissa served as an AmeriCorps VISTA for two years with Campus Compact for New Hampshire at NHTI, Concord’s Community College. Larissa spent her first service year coordinating community service at the college, and her second supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives and helping to lead the NH VISTA team. She has also held positions where she built skills and gained experience in human resources, digital marketing, and community outreach.

Larissa earned an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts from Suffolk County Community College and a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in human resources from Granite State College. She currently serves on Volunteer NH’s Governor’s Conference on Volunteerism Committee and is a member of the Concord Young Professionals Network (CYPN), New Hampshire Women in Higher Education Leadership (NHWHEL), and NASPA: Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education. Larissa’s interests include mindfulness, social justice, civic and community engagement, lifelong learning, and leadership.

Ciaran Farley, Executive Assistant

Ciaran Farley is the Executive Assistant for Campus Compact for New Hampshire. Ciaran supports the GEAR UP New Hampshire and GEAR UP Manchester teams, the AmeriCorps VISTA team, and provides support to the CCNH staff. Additionally, Ciaran partners with Maine Campus Compact and Campus Compact for Southern New England on the Fusion project, a faculty online service-learning course series. Ciaran previously worked as an Academic Advisor at Southern New Hampshire University and passionately believes in the power of higher education to change lives.

Ciaran received her Bachelors of Art degree in Drama from the Catholic University of America.
